Adam Mulwana “Tokakwabalabala” Singer Dies.

Adam Mulwana, who got fame during the 2016 General Elections for his song, ‘Toka Kwa Balabala’, has died earlier this Morning.

Toka kwa Balabala, a Swahili word meaning ‘get out of the way’, became a signature song for the Opposition Forum for Democratic Change and its leader Dr Kizza Besigye as took a fourth attempt to defeat President Museveni using the ballot.

Mulwana had been battling with illness for over two years. Last year, he said he had been poisoned.

Since the song shot up the campaign music charts, Mulwana lived in both fame and paranoia, constantly shifting residence as paranoia that he was being watched by security operatives hit hard.

It should be noted that last year, in an interview, Mulwana disclosed he had been battling a ‘painful’ liver complication.

In the same interview, he said doctors had revealed to him that besides the liver complications, he had been poisoned.

Following his death, many especially in the opposition, have taken to social media to eulogize the fallen singer “Mulwana”.

Mulwana is set to be buried on Wednesday 14th February, in Luweero.
