Fast rising artist Aroma has finally opened up on what led to the fall out with Chosen Becky shorty after working on a song together.
Late last year, Aroma teamed up Chosen Becky on ‘New Comer’, and just as the song had started getting the recognition it deserved, the two parties involved bitterly split.
According to Aroma, she was supposed to own the copyright of the song because she funded both the audio and the video but was surprised when Chosen Becky uploaded it on her YouTube Channel.
“We had a different agreement about the song but she later changed. When I tried to communicate with her, she blue ticked me with no response and the immediate person I had to talk to was her manager who doubles as her husband,”
“She was not happy that I reached out to her husband and sent me a WhatsApp audio warning me to stay away from her husband. She quarreled and then blocked me,” Aroma recounted.
Reports had earlier circulated that the pair fell out because Aroma tried to hit on Chosen Becky’s husband Dikteta Amir, a rumor which Aroma trashes.
“I won’t say that she is insecure woman but her husband is her manager. When you call the artist and they do not respond, you try the manager,” she added.
Aroma apologized for telling her side of the story about the whole saga and denied claims of trying to make a name off Chosen Becky, also tarnishing her name.
“I have gone through a lot in my career. Sometimes you become suicidal, depressed and sad. I just don’t break down in front of the camera,” she concluded.
