Dr. Hamza shares his feelings about Rema Namakula’s late night shows

Dr. Hamza Ssebunya, the husband and baby daddy to Rema Namakula has let the public know how he really feels about his wife’s late night gigs.

Rema is one of Uganda’s top artists and most cases she is overly booked with shows that not only stretch up to late in the night but also require her to travel away from her young family.

When the couple got married, tycoon Godfrey Kirumira who is a relative to Dr. Hamza had given Rema’s career a timeline saying she needed to give it up at some point, having taken on responsibilities as a wife.

Dr. Hamza however, looks to have settled in and showed support to his wife.

”We understand each other because I married my friend. I know what she does and vice versa. I have not had any challenge in what she does. It is her profession and at the end of the day, we are husband and wife, we go home and leave everything behind,” he said.

According to Dr. Hamza, one of the key factors that has kept them going is the communication between them.

”It’s all about communication. She communicates and gives me her weekly program so her whereabouts do not come as a surprise,” he added.

Dr. Hamza is a doctor and his job requires him to take on night shifts sometimes. He is however glad that his wife has been nothing but supportive. He in turn shows support by being present at some of Rema Namakula’s shows.

Rema Namakula and Dr. Hamza officiated their relationship in 2019 and the couple has two adorable children; Amaal and Aaliyah.
