Singer Grenade Official gave his life to Jesus Christ at celebrity pastor Wilson Bugembe’s ‘The Worship House’, embarking on his new spiritual journey.
The tough decision to leave his previous life behind did not just hit him the fateful morning but Grenade confessed that for a long time now, he’d been hearing the calling but always turned it down until he gave in.
“For a long time now, the Holy Spirit has been beckoning me but because of my hard-headedness. One thing, God will not put you on pressure, he lets you sort yourself out and get back to him. I officially decided to follow the truth,” he said.
In a bid to walk this new journey of holiness, the ‘Nkuloga’ hitmaker has revealed that he had to make tough decisions that included dropping a number of bad habits to help him pursue his calling.
“God is not judgmental. Yes, there are many things like alcohol, drugs that are not of God and all these, I quit,”
He might be a changed man but Grenade has vowed not to leave women alone because he believes he was meant to be with women.
God created love. Being Godly does not take away your right to be in love. I have my friend that we walk this journey of life together. Being a Born Again does not take away my reality,” he said.
Grenade further apologized to each and every person he has hurt along the way, including Rickman who he allegedly hit with a bottle in a bar.
“If I have ever hurt you in any way, please forgive the old Grenade because I’m now a changed person. Rickman should forgive me for whatever happened,” he said.
