Singer Simon Bunks on Monday last week released the remix of his song titled smash. The song that was premiered on his YouTube channel featured Galaxy TV and Radio Presenter Detacha Sakalaman.
While appearing on some interview, Simon Bunks was asked on how he got Detach on the remix of his song yet the two seem not to have a strong attachment musically and off music. Simon says the connection came when they both attended a show in Jinja in 2022. “It was after the show that Detacha approached me and asked where I have been having noticed how good of a dancehall artiste I am and it is the same genre he does” Simon said. He went on to say that it is the day they exchanged contacts and used the same opportunity to ask Detacha for collaboration.
When Detacha listened to Simon Bunks’ music in his free time, it was when he like Smash and called him to do a remix of the song other than a fresh collabo. The audio was then recorded at the end of 2023 and the video was short in January this year.
Simon Bunks joined the industry about 5 years ago but he became more popular with his song titled Zange. He followed with songs like Sampolo, Dear God, More and Kono among others.
