Kenyan comedian Adan Abdi has been confirmed as the headliner of July’s edition of the Funny Bunny comedy show. The Kenyan born somali comedian will be joining the rest of Ugandan comedians on July 30th at the Wombo Restaurant located behind Central Police Station Kampala.
The 26 year old stand-up comedian is regarded as one of the best in Kenyan and he has graced many big stages both in Kenya and other parts of the country. Adan has performed at Comedy Central, the biggest comedy network in America, Komedians International, Sol Generation, Niaje.ke, The XYZ Show and Punchline Comedy Club Nairobi among others. His jokes revolve around his social life, Politics and the daily experience of Kenya.
Besides Adan, other comedians that will perform at the July edition of Funny Bunny comedy show will include Don Andre, Dr Hillary Okello, Noi Noi and Sundiata, the self-proclaimed Mayor of Kirabu.
Tickets for the show are already on sale and will go for shs20,000 ordinary and Shs350,000 for a table of 6 people. Other comedians who have performed at Wombo restaurants Funny Bunny comedy show include Patrick Salvador, Emma Napoleone, OKello Okello, Optional Allan, Alex Muhangi, Cotilda Inapo and Agnes Akite among others.
