Madrat & Chiko ask Eddie Ssendi to apologize to Gravity Omutujju for insensitive comments

Top comedians Madrat and Chiko have tasked Youtuber and critic Eddie Ssendi to apologize to Gravity Omutujju for the unnecessary comments he made over the weekend following the death of the rapper’s mother Jane Kajoina on Friday.

Gravity Omutujju was preparing himself to perform at the Konzo Night Festival organized by Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu on Friday night when he got a call that his mother had died. The musician was already in the booked hotel room and when he heard the news, he quickly left for the village in Fort Portal.

Eddie Ssendi, while appearing on a TV show, advised Gravity Omutujju to put aside his emotions and go on stage to perform because he badly needed the money. Many people found his comments out of pocket, calling Eddie Ssendi heartless and not putting Gravity’s pain in consideration.

Speaking to Kookie Promotions, Madrat and Chiko expressed their disappointment in Eddie Ssendi, calling him a wiseacre who always wants to sound different from everyone else because he wants likes and attention.

“A grown up person like Ssendi fully understands the impact of his statement. He reasons like he has never lost a loved one. Even when you pay me money to do comedy after my mother has died, I will not show up. It hurts me so bad because he always has something negative to say about someone.”

Most people say stuff because they are looking for likes and to show people that they know and understand more than them. Let us wait for Gravity to come out of mourning and show him fire. You do not joke with Wabuyu.” They said,

Mrs. Jane Kajoina was found unresponsive in her sleep on Friday morning. According to Gravity Omutujju, she had for long suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure. She was laid to rest in Nyantabooma, Fort Portal on Monday afternoon and different celebrities traveled from Kampala to pay their respects during her send off. Among these included Fik Fameica, Mudra, Shakira Shakiraa Jose Chameleone, Nina Roz, Eddy Kenzo, Full Figure, Mikie Wine and many others.
