Netizens still praising the stage at the Watoto 40 year celebration

Last Sunday, Watoto Ministries celebrated 40 years of existence and the celebrations took place at Kololo Airstrip in Kampala. Even after three days of the event, netizens are still showering praise and talking about the stage that was used for the performers, worshippers and preachers at the 40 years celebration.

The stage that was built by Fenon Events stands out as one of the biggest stages ever in the history of Ugandan events. The Fenon stage apart from looking beautiful managed to accommodate over 800 people from the church band, the choir, performers and preachers among others.

According to sources at Fenon events, the stage was 102 metres wide as compared to the usual stages and another source close to this website site said that the Blu*3 concert stage was just 26 metres.

Besides the stage, Fenon also provided the lighting, the stage wall videos that enabled those far behind to closely monitor and enjoy whatever was happening on stage. For over the years, Fenon has come up with different stage production concepts for different concerts both local and international and each concert that passes comes with better stages and better innovations.

One of the social media users posted on their social media page and said that the stage looked to be the most expensive stages in Uganda ever. Another one said it must have taken the Fenon team a week to build the stage and most people just praised the beauty of the stage.

The 40 year celebration had First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni as the chief Guest among others invited guests. There were performances and worship sessions for the event that was crowned by cake cutting. Watoto started as Kampala Pentecostal Church (KPC) before becoming Watoto Church.
