Nigeria’s Rema part ways with Marvin Records

The 18 years old Nigerian Afrobeat singer originally “Divine Ikubor” known by stage as Rave lord “Rema” has part ways with his label Mavin records.

With a signed contract with his recent record Label “Marvin Records” of bossman ‘Don Jazzy’ who signed Rema with a deal period of 15 years – Favorable, he was disappointed by Rema, quoted saying;

“I invested more than 2 billion naira in Rema. But once he started making money from his music, he felt I wasn’t treating him well. Upcoming artists often don’t realize how difficult it is to sign an artist. The contract I had with Rema was favorable to him, yet he felt he wasn’t being treated right and decided to terminate it. I wish him the best,” Don Jazzy remarked. He noted that Rema terminated a contract that was supposed to last for 15 years. ~ Don Jazzy

The veracity of this info is not confirmed pls. I don’t know how true this is, but if this is true that Don Jazzy allegedly stated this, then Rema no do well at all. Don’t repay people ev!l for the good intentions they have towards you.

A contract is a contract irrespective of how you see it. Reason why you have to be sure before signing those dotted lines don’t sign and later start listening to those who couldn’t help you when you needed that help to confuse you now you found it. Be wise and know what you are signing before you agree to it, don’t do it out of desperation.
