Rising and promising young star, Pinky left her fans surprised when she finally confessed to having a huge crush on Ykee Benda and his music while growing up.
Speaking in an interview, the former Team No Sleep artist made the confession when asked about the only Ugandan artist of the opposite sex that she has ever had an admiration on.
“I only had a crush on one Ugandan artist but I believe I grew up and it disappeared. When I was young in school I used to love Ykee Benda so much but now I have grown up and only crush on Trent Alexander,” Pinky revealed.
When asked if she would give in to Ykee Benda’s advances in case he wanted to start up something romantic between them, Pinky turned down the offer revealing she has outgrown and moved on from it.
“A crush disappears and I was not crushing on him in a romantic way, I was just obsessed with his music and still I’m,” she noted.
In 2022, social media was awash with reports that Pinky had been fired from Jeff Kiiwa’s Team No Sleep over her disobedience and bad character. There were allegations that she was not only having sexual relations with older men but also a hardcore drug addict; the rumors which the Picha hitmaker debunked.
Pinky who is now trending with her new song ‘Doro Guchi’ is currently working without management because she believes she has not yet found anyone who values her craft the way she would want to.
“TNS did so good with my talent, but the rest, I have not seen better.. Circumstances, Things happen, we had a little misunderstanding and we decided to put a pause on the business.
I have all the rights to my songs. we did not separate on bad terms. Everything remained the same apart from the business,” Pinky spoke about her split with Team No Sleep.
