Earlier this year, singer Lil Pazo, born Mukasa Yasin released ‘Enkudi’, a song that has risen through ranks with a number of viral challenges on social media platforms.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Lil Paso revealed he read a Facebook post by a one ‘Kilaka’ where he fished the word from. Without hesitation, he commented appreciating the author for coming up with a new word and quickly hit the studio, releasing the monster hit.
”I picked interest in this particular word so I ended up patching different words to come up with the story. I’m an artist whose music is consumed because of the hard work that I put in, rather than pity,” he said in an interview.
Lil Pazo is one of the few artists who take long without releasing a hit song. Having hit airwaves with ‘Genda ogule Emotoka’ six years ago, he bounced back with this jam assuring his fans that he isn’t a one hit wonder like they had labelled him to be.
“I take time to release music but when I do, the song always goes viral because of the lyrical maturity and the time I invest into it,” he said.
Lil Pazo is also known for songs like Tugenda Kuffa, Maama, Butiiti among others
