A group of gospel artists has called upon the government of Uganda to ban all vulgar songs, citing the bad influence they have on the masses and music consumers.

Songs that have been the point of emphasis in this argument include Lil Pazo’s Enkudi and the trending TikTok jam Shifura by Hozambee.

Speaking before the media, Pastor Juma revealed he would never allow his children listen to these particular songs because they have a strong effect on their morals.

“These songs are bad and those listening to them on their songs should know that they can easily drag them to hell. Just delete them,” he said.

Levixone a renowned gospel artist has on many occasions received strong criticism for performing at concerts organized by secular artists. He has many times used these platforms to preach the gospel and encourage people to turn to Christ.

“If you know the song is vulgar, stop promoting it. There are very many songs with meaning, those are what you should give to the people because God has given you the platform, use it.” Levixone advised the media.
