One of Uganda’s finest rappers, Mukiisza frank, best known by Feffe Bussi on stage has released his first ever studio album with 16 amazing tracks titled ‘The Paragon’.
Feffe Bussi is one of the few rappers that have stood the test of time and continued to deliver some big hits in this dynamic industry. He has had chart topping jams without an album all through the years. In the same interview, he narrated how it took him two years compiling this masterpiece and how he wanted to start earning from streaming platforms which he had for long ignored.
“I was not doing well with streaming platforms. My music had no catalogue to be streamed like other people. A person who is streaming enjoys buying an album as a whole, not just bits. I made this album in order to have more music and earn more money on these platforms. Singles do not sell so well there,” he said.
Known by his unique style of rap and lyrical prowess, Feffe Bussi surely delivered some of the top tracks with this album and speaking during his media tour, the self-styled smallest rapper has credits some of the big stars like Ayra Star, Olamide Asake among others in the Western rap industry as the main inspiration behind his maiden album.
“When the album drops, there is a way streaming platform align their songs and it’s really amazing. They put your music everywhere and I always fantasized to be like them. It took us two years to put it together,” he said.
Feffe Bussi has worked with some of the best producers including BassBoi, D’Mario, Ian Pro and Nessim Pan and Herbert Skillz, Anel, Steve Keys who did the mix and mastering.
It features artists like Lilian Mbabazi, Karole Kasita, Ykee Benda, john Blaq, Nina Roz, Coco Finger and Nubian Li.
The album release comes shortly after Feffe staged his first ever solo concert at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo which was a sale out, thanks to his fans who flocked the venue to support him.
“It was a wow experience. My fans showed me a lot of love on my first concert. Everyone came through and supported me. The VVIP was so full. I give God the glory and thank my fans, I will keep working hard.” he said.
