‘We Will Forever Be Stars’ – ‘Kiwoko Boys’ Deny Being Faded

Eighton (real name Kalanda Moses) and Rainman (Ssentongo Mathias) of the ‘Kiwoko’ fame have officially announced their return on the music scene and are ready for booking in case of any concerts and shows.

It’s been close to a decade since the duo last had a performance and there were speculations that they had parted ways. Speaking to journalists, Rain confirmed that they were still together and capable of still doing music as a duo.

“We are still together but doing different things. We can even perform togther and If he was not busy, he would be here with me for this performance. For the promoters who want to hire the both of us, we charge Shs. 10 million and 5-8 for one of us,” he said.

We have seen the rise of top music duos like Da Twinz juggle both music and business at the same time for many years. Commenting about this, Rain believes they worked so hard during their prime and their work would last them for long as they handled their personal businesses.

“Everyone has their own calculations. they could be doing music but handling their personal businesses on the side. For us, we are better than that because we did great music that got popular among different age groups,” he said.

Eighton and Rain are currently on personal commitments but believe they made music that would survive for two decades and now that they are back, they will pick up from where they stopped.

“We have never gone back and we were never faded. We will and always continue to be stars. There are many artists with said hit songs that don’t do what we do,” he revealed.

The duo came to the limelight in the late 2000s with their monster hit ‘Kiwoko’, a song directed towards The Goodlyfe’s Radio and Weasel as a response to their Zuena song. They were believed o have been signed under Bebe Cool’s Gagamel Records with an aim to fight against Radio and Weasel who were managed by Jeff.
